WHO WE ARE
Lauren Hirsh- Lauren is a professional children's guardian who has worked on over a dozen Broadway shows including THE KING AND I (Head Child Guardian), RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR (Head Child Guardian), LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE (Head Child Guardian), ANNIE, MOTOWN, MATILDA, SCHOOL OF ROCK, KINKY BOOTS, BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL (National Tour) and more! She's also worked on several new musical workshops and has even wrangled a children's fashion show for Target! She's a proud member of Local 764 which represents Professional Broadway Child Guardians as well as Actor's Equity Association which represents Professional Actors and Stage Managers. Lauren received a BFA in Stage Management from the University of Miami Theater Conservatory in Florida.
Becky Cherlin Baird- Becky holds a BFA in Musical Theatre. She is a member of both Actor's Equity Association and Local 764. As the Founding Artistic Director, The J*Company Youth Theatre, Becky loves helping kids develop a passion for performing and learning all the aspects of putting on a show. While with the J*Company, she also worked with the thousands of parents teaching them about theatre, working on a show and how to support their kids in a healthy manner. Becky was the children's casting director for the Broadway First National Tour of "Joseph...Dreamcoat." She has spent years as a Board member for the San Diego Junior Theatre (oldest youth theatre in the country) and San Diego Musical Theatre. She is fondly know as the "Pied Piper of Children's Theatre" and has a knack for working with kids and their parents. Her Broadway credits include Matilda, King and I, Fiddler on the Roof, and Food Network's Chopped Junior. As a Professional theatre educator, Artistic Director, and Mother, she feels it is important that kids are well rounded and well educated.
